I saw a clip today that weighs so heavily on me that I have to write about it.
When those who are supposed to uphold and enforce the laws and protect the rights of the individual are purposely and brutally restricting those who are excercizing their rights to influence policy changes we are called upon to remember the wisdom of the founding fathers in drafting the constitution to limit the power of government and protect the rights of the people. When a peaceful protest is treated like a violent rally and people who are clearly not resisting violently are handled with brutality and there is no fear from the perpetrators with regard to the cameras watching them, there is reason to take note and take action. I invite you to contact your representative, stand in your power and fight the death of freedom in our nation.
