Constitution: A Living Document
I find it interesting that this "Living Document" is being put to death by the claim that it is living. What gives the Constitution life is the freedoms it guarantees and the limitations it places on government. It is alive in that it gives US life (liberty and the pursuit of happiness) in the checks and balances contained within it. It is the supreme law of our land. There are NO exceptions. With every change we make that limits our personal freedom and extends the power of the government it loses vitality. It is those very constraints that give us our freedom and liberty. Preserve the "life" of the Constitution by preserving it's original power!
