I disagree about the need for an amendment to the constitution because it already states that our rights are not limited to those specifically outlined in the constitution. If we keep making amendments to specify rights, soon nothing can be garaunteed which is NOT in the constitution. HOWEVER, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child basically severs parental rights giving them over to the state and federal governments. I support SR. 519 and have contacted my senators, please examine the issue and do the same. :)
